FUNERAL FOR A FALLEN BROTHER
Mahwah firefighter Michael Drozd, a piper with the Bergen County Firefighters Pipe Band, was laid to rest today. Last week, he was killed in an automobile accident shortly after performing at a fundraiser for John McCain.

NJ GUARD DEPARTURE

DANGERS OF ARTIFICIAL TURF

A MOTHER'S LAMENT
Amina and Mariam Kure of Teaneck, will be deployed to Iraq for their second tour of combat duty this summer. Inseparable since birth, the 25-year-old twins will be sent their own ways for the first time. Their mother has asked that they be allowed to stay together but the National Guard has yet to respond.
